Market Leader in Tachograph Data Management Solutions
Transics, Europe’s leading player in high-end fleet management solutions for the transport and logistics sector, reports a major contract with the Swedish police force for the supply of tachograph data download and archiving solutions. In a first phase, over 300 police officers throughout Sweden will be equipped with software and hardware to manage and monitor tachograph data and control carriers’ compliance with legal requirements. For Transics, the tender win illustrates the strategic value add of last year’s takeover of DIS, developer of analog and digital tachograph download and archiving solutions. The contract win also proves the market potential of DIS’ products outside its French home market.
Transics/DIS hardware and software solutions will enable 300 police officers throughout Sweden to access information contained in analogue and digital tachographs on the roadside as well as on company premises and to control compliance with Swedish and European driving and resting time legislations. Transics was awarded this contract following a Europe-wide competitive public tender organised by the Swedish National Police.
