Novadata Hosts ‘Association of Trainers’ Meeting
Novadata were delighted to host the latest meeting to be held by the Association of Trainers on Wednesday 15 October. Hosted at Novadata’s Braintree headquarters in Essex, the meeting attracted delegates from across London and the East of England.
Launched last May, the Association of Trainers was formed to represent professional trainers involved in the delivery of Driver CPC training. The Association identified that there is currently no one body which can deal with the full range of CPC training issues and represent the interests of trainers. The Association intends to raise the profile of trainers and to have direct consultations with key stakeholder bodies: DSA, DVLA, Go-Skills and CPT. Very importantly, it aims to facilitate better communications across the transport industry training sector. Members represent a wide cross section of driver training, from local government to private small, medium and large companies.
A key focus of this meeting was the need for a quality approach to the delivery of Driver CPC Training. Delegates also received the latest updates on Driver CPC periodic training requirements.
