Novadata Champions Association of Trainers
Launched in May 2008, the Association of Trainers was formed to represent professional trainers involved in the delivery of Driver CPC training. The Association identified that there was no one body which could deal with the full range of CPC training issues and represent the interests of trainers.
The Association aims to facilitate better communications across the transport industry training sector. Members represent a wide cross section of driver training, from local government to private small, medium and large companies. A key objective of the association is to provide a quality assurance scheme for operators wishing to purchase DriverCPC Periodic Training which, following its implementation on 10th September 2008 for the PCV sector, will take effect on 10th September 2009 for LGV drivers.
Benefits of joining the Association of Trainers include:
Use of Association's Centre Registration.
Sharing of 'pre-registered courses, giving the ability to offer a wide syllabus and avoid duplication of course registration.
Updates to courses for revised legislation and regulations.
Discounted membership of the Nationwide Transport Training (NTT) brokerage scheme (which is endorsed by Go-Skills and CPT) - £100 instead of £150 per annum.
Centre Registration
Training Organisations can either:-
(a) register their own training centres directly with the JAUPT at £1,500 (one off payment) for five years or
(b) Use the Associatation's centre registration at a cost of £250 each year - this will include a regular audit.
