Digital Download Service

• Do you want to buy a new truck but have worries about the digital tachograph and how it works?

Novadata has expertise working with a number of companies downloading digital tachographs since May  2006.

How does the service work?

• We will visit your premises and issue you and your drivers with the forms required by the DVLA to apply for your digital cards.
• When the new vehicle arrives we visit and install the company card details into the vehicle unit. This locks your company details into the machine.
• We will give a demonstration as to how the driver will use the tachograph on a daily basis.
• Once the vehicle has been used for the first week, we will visit and download the driver’s card onto a laptop in order to see whether the driver has used the tachograph correctly.
• The full analysis will be available shortly afterwards and we will visit you and your driver and address any problems that the analysis reveals.
• We download the driver’s card on a regular basis so that the information does not get overwritten, 
• We will answer questions and give advice on an ongoing basis as and when required.

What does the service cost? Cost is dependent upon your location and the number of vehicles and drivers involved. Once your requirements have been assessed, we can give you a quote. You will not need to buy any download equipment, unless you wish to
