Hydraulic Tail Lifts on Road Vehicles Training Course
Training as required under Puwer 98 regulations
(Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 5th December 1998 ) Any person that uses work equipment must receive adequate training for the safe use of the equipment. (Must be recorded)
Hydraulic Tail Lifts on lorries also come under the LOLER 98 Regs. (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998)
Block Training Syllabus:
• Registration of candidates.
• Explanation & outline of the course.
• Expectations from the candidates during training.
• Causes of accidents & accident prevention.
• Stability & capacities of the tail lift.
• Theoretical study.
• Pre test training, and corrective training.
• Theoretical test. (written)
• Practical test of basic operating skills. (timed to 10 mins)
• Course feedback & close.
