Enforcement:
 
VOSA are fully authorised by the Department of Transport to carryout roadside and site checks to confirm or deny if companies are abiding by the regulations, companies failing to follow the security regulations may be given 21 days notice to correct the issue or face prosecution.
 
Everyone involved in the carriage/storage/handling of dangerous goods must comply with the security measures in ADR 2005 & CDG RD 04 (amended 05).
 
Novadata are now assisting companies with Security Plans & Security Training for both drivers and managers.
