• Smartanalysis is the leading digital tachograph analysis solution - already analysing in

system receives analogue and digital tacho records from all over Europe.
• Smartanalysis is deployed in over 6,000 locations throughout the UK and Europe, and
has over 9,000 registered users.
Here's how Smartanalysis® helps you manage your tachographs, and how it benefits your business:
• Easy to use, free software for downloading digital tachograph driver card and vehicle
unit data. Software runs on standard PCs; no server-based software is needed at all.
• Analogue (paper) charts can be scanned from your depots, or posted - we do
everything else (data entry, analysis, reporting). Avoid other systems where you
scan charts AND you do all the data-entry work!
• All your reports for Drivers' Hours Law, Working Time Directive, vehicle continuity,
driver utilisation, etc. are available online on the secure Smartanalysis® website -
accessible from any Internet browser.
• You can choose to have all the reports you need sent automatically to you by
email. By setting up subscriptions to key reports, you can have them delivered every
day/week/month to your email inbox. Many transport managers opt for this - it saves
you the bother of logging on to Smartanalysis® and running the reports yourself.
• There are over 60 standard reports available, and these include: Drivers Hours' Law
analysis reports, Working Time Directive (WTD) reports, Infringement summary reports,
Exception reports, Depot comparison reports, Chart submission reports, Vehicle
continuity reports, Trend analysis reports. Bespoke (custom) reports can also be
created to match your exact requirements.
• We invoice you monthly for the paper chart and driver card data you send to
Smartanalysis. Invoices are itemised so you can see what you are being charged for.
• We have a free support phone number where you can get help if you need it.
Here are some things we don't do:
• We don't require you to sign a contract with us. Watch out for contracts that try to lock
you in for 12 months or more. If you don't like Smartanalysis® you just stop using it -
there are absolutely no financial or contractual penalties.
• We do not use direct debits for payment - we invoice in arrears (after you have seen
your data) on a monthly basis on 30-day terms.
• We do not charge on a per-driver-per-week basis where you end up paying even when
your drivers don't work.
• We don't charge for our telephone support. Other companies use premium-rate phone
lines charging upwards of 50 pence per minute (i.e. upwards of £30 per hour). Our
support line is the standard BT landline rate.
• We do not charge for processing and storage of vehicle data - you only pay per paper
chart (analogue tacho) or driver daily record (digital tacho).
