Driver CPC Training (LGV)

Our approved transport training centre in Braintree, Essex, is well respected as a centre for Driver CPC training in Essex, although candidates frequently come from further afield to benefit from our expertise.

Transport professionals who drive regularly for hire or reward are required to attend 35 hours of periodic Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) training every five years. This is in order to obtain and renew a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) which is a legal requirement for those who drive for a living.  However, if you recently passed your LGV driving test, you may need to take Initial Driver CPC training to obtain your first DQC. Check with a member of our team and we can advise you.

Our Driver CPC training courses have been devised to make the best use possible of your 35 hours of training. This helps you to improve your professional skills, increase your knowledge of road safety; and assists you in staying current with industry best practice and evolving transport legislation.

Please click on individual courses below for further details, dates and booking information, or click the button to view ALL dates available.

Please note: booking online is subject to confirmation by email from our office. If your chosen course is oversubscribed, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternative courses and dates.  Please sign up for our mailing list here.
