This Driver CPC eLearning course provides invaluable information on many of the key elements of which professional drivers should be aware, and is suitable for both newcomers to the industry and seasoned, experienced drivers.
Under the new Driver CPC rules, drivers are permitted to include up to 12 hours of eLearning as part of their 35 hours of periodic Driver CPC training. This provides flexibility to fit some of your training around working hours, studying at your chosen pace. Use any device with internet connection – smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop – to complete the course modules.
This course is equally suitable for both passenger transport and LGV/HGV drivers and counts as 7 hours towards either National or International Driver CPC periodic training.
Complete the course at your own pace, when you choose. Study on any digital device you prefer. As Driver CPC eLearning sessions are not instructor-led, you are free to choose your own time to study and complete each module.
As long as you have a stable internet connection, you can complete this course on any of a range of devices: computer, laptop, mobile phone or tablet.

The Driver CPC eLearning Driver Essentials course comprises ten 40-minute modules which take a total of seven hours to complete. You can choose whether to complete all ten in one day, or phase them over a number of days and weeks. You must complete all ten modules and finish this course within 90 days of registration.
Once you have purchased a course from us, we will send you a link to log in to our online learning platform*. You can then work through the modules at times to suit you.
The modules are online and interactive and include videos. Narration of the information is also available if you would prefer to listen rather than read. There are short quizzes at the end of each module but don’t worry, your Driver CPC hours will be logged regardless of your result. Completion of the course is based on attendance, not on passing a test or exam.
Once you have completed 7 hours of training, you will be able to download your certificate. You will need to email this to us so that we can verify the training is complete and upload your hours to DVSA.
You are only permitted to complete only one 7-hour eLearning course within each 35-hour Driver CPC training block. The remaining hours must be completed as traditional, instructor-led CPC courses. Novadata provides a wide range of courses for professional bus/ coach drivers that can be found here.
