Once you have gained a Transport Manager CPC qualification, you will be qualified to hold the post of Transport Manager within either a road haulage or passenger transport organisation. However, this should not be the end of your professional training. The UK Traffic Commissioners recommend that you attend a Transport Manager CPC Refresher course every couple of years to stay current with changes in legislation and best practice.

Driver CPC accreditation

Transport Manager CPC Refresher courses can count towards the 35 hours of periodic Driver CPC training which must be completed every five years by most professional drivers. A two-day course can count for up to 14 hours towards Driver CPC training. Please let us know when booking if you would like your course to be counted towards your Driver CPC training hours total.

Company directors/owners

If you are a company director or owner, rather than a transport manager, you should attend an OLAT course.
