Transport training at your own site

You may have a number of candidates in your organisation who require training, or perhaps you would like to combine with colleagues from other organisations to form a group. If so, we can offer training at your own premises for multiple candidates, delivering a number of courses.

What do you need?

For us to provide training at your site:

• you will need a well-ventilated space at a comfortable temperature
• room size may depend on number of attendees
• your chosen room must comfortably accommodate the group plus the trainer
• you must comply with health & safety and fire regulations

For one day courses, in particular, you may wish to have half your candidates attend on one day and the other half on another, so you don’t take them all out of work at the same time. We can also provide Saturday Driver CPC courses for groups of drivers.

Some of our courses, such as Driver CPC, OLAT and Transport Manager CPC Refresher, are also available online, especially for groups. 

For online training, each candidate must:

• be able to attend via their own PC, laptop, or tablet 
• have a stable internet 
• have a forward-facing camera
• be in a space free from distractions
• be clearly seen by the trainer throughout the course

Don't have suitable premises and none of our advertised dates suit you?

If you have a group of candidates who would prefer to train with us in person at our training centre, but don’t see an advertised date that suits your timetable, we may still be able to help. Depending on trainer availability, we may be able to add an extra date or dates, just for your group, at our premises.

Booking and information

You may wish to get together with similar businesses in your area in order to gather up to 20 drivers together for Driver CPC courses – we are very happy to train colleagues from a number of companies as one group. 

We recommend booking groups of no more than 12 transport manager candidates as the material is more detailed and the course more intensive.
