Over 2.5 tonnes: you now need an O Licence to transport goods to Europe
If you use a van (with or without a trailer), or car/trailer combination, exceeding 2.5 tonnes to transport goods for hire or reward across most of Europe, you require an O Licence and a qualified transport manager.
If you don't already have one, you must apply for a Standard International Operator Licence, and you must employ someone with a valid Transport Manager CPC qualification. Without these you could face possible penalties in any countries through which you drive. Don't be caught out!
You can train to take the Transport Manager CPC examinations with our expert trainers, and sit your exams at our fully approved centre in Braintree, Essex. Book your course today!
