Drivers of vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are responsible under the law in ways that go far beyond that of any other profession.

Employers also have legally enforceable responsibilities for the training and actions of their drivers. This is stated in Article 10 of Drivers Hours Regulations.

Understanding and implementing the law is a joint responsibility, and failure to do either could result in prosecution and even the restriction or loss of the company operator licence.

This course gives both drivers and employers a clear understanding of correct tachograph use and its governing legislation. New Drivers Hours Regulations were revised on 20th August 2020, so this course is recommended for those who gained transport management qualifications before that date, those who hold a Restricted Operator Licence and as a helpful revision course for all transport managers who need to ensure that they comply with Drivers' Hours Law.
