Course content

To assist with the Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage multiple choice examination, the first two one day courses cover the following areas:

Course 1

• Drivers’ Hours Law (the basics)
• Driver Licensing
• Business and Company Law
• Financial Management

Course 2

• Operator Licensing
• Industrial Relations
• Insurance
• Safe Loading

The third one day course is geared towards preparation for the case study examination, and covers these key topics:

Course 3 

• Vehicle Costing
• Drivers’ Hours Scheduling

Who should attend online Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage courses? 

Online courses are suitable for candidates wishing to gain the Transport Manager CPC qualification in the road haulage sector. They should be combined with home study, for which you will need to purchase a Road Haulage study pack, available in our online shop. Candidates following this route are also welcome to book exams through us.

We recognise that not everyone can attend a full eight-day classroom-based course. This online option allows candidates to benefit from some expert assistance with the key topics covered by the syllabus. Online courses are therefore ideal for those choosing the home study option.

Sitting your exams

Examinations can now be taken either at Novadata’s accredited examination centre in Braintree, Essex, or from the comfort of your home, using the latest online proctoring system. If you decide to study alone for the entire Transport Manager CPC exams, you can still purchase your home study pack from us and you are welcome to book your exam through us using our exam only option. Examination dates are determined by SEGA.  Read more about examinations here.

Re-sitting an exam module

If you did not pass both modules at the first attempt, you don’t need to repeat an entire eight-day course before resitting either exam, but can instead brush up your knowledge with our online training courses. Our online courses are suitable for resit candidates who have used either the Novadata Transport Manager CPC study materials or the EOS Training Transport Manager CPC study materials.

Please note: This series of three online courses is relevant to the road haulage sector only. We do not currently have an online course option for the passenger transport sector.

• If you wish to go it alone and adopt the home study approach, progressing at your own pace and setting your own timetable, you won’t have the benefit of any expert training, but you can purchase all the necessary study materials from us.

  You will need the Road Haulage study pack, which is available from our online shop.

  You are welcome to  sit your exams with us, on SEGA’s set examination dates, either in a paper-based format at our own SEGA accredited exam centre in Braintree, Essex, or online via the proctored system.
